This book is funny -- it fulfills the most basic requirement of a book of panel cartoons. Beyond that, it could be longer; you get quality more than quantity. I bought the ebook version to read on a plane (luckily it was a short flight). There are sometimes problems with ebooks of cartoons: interior writing (word balloon text) may be too small, or otherwise difficult to read. This book didn't have any of those problems. I bought two other ebooks of panel cartoons for the same trip, and both of the other two were occasionally hard to read. (You can increase text size on Kindle, but of course you can't affect drawn text, or make the drawing itself any larger.) One of the other books was pretty short also, so maybe that's par for the course with this kind of compilation. The third book -- Cartoons from the New Yorker 2013 day to day calendar -- was copious (about 313 panels) but was often problematic to make out on Kindle.

I would have given Nowt so daft five stars if I hadn't finished it so quickly, but still, very good.
